It's all so overwhelming. My first encounter with the computer age was a class on the basics of programming when I was back in high school. It was pre-windows. In fact, it was before anyone I knew had heard of a personal computer. We would phone the University 30 miles away and put the handset into a cradle so that their computer could talk to ours. It was fascinating, but it wasn't to be my life's work.
Now I find myself dependent on keeping up with ever-changing technology in order to share my music with you. Uploads and Downloads. Syncing and Linking. Facebook and twitter and YouTube. WAV files and mp3 files and MOV files. I thought I was recording a CD, but now many musicians are just offering an EP. I have yet to learn what that means.
Some of you know that this isn't my first attempt at keeping up with the times. I had a go at this website before, but time commitments and life changes kept me from keeping it current.
Now my heart of hearts is telling me it's time to try again. I'm on track to put out a recording by mid-November. I ask for your prayers and your patience as I tip-toe into this somewhat frightening realm.
